We have been trading for over 30 years, and although a little different now, our concept is still the same! As a small independent business, we pride ourselves on our high-quality products, great value for money and brilliant customer service. We are loose food specialists, and our extensive range of products include, dried fruits, nuts and seeds, as well as basic cupboard essentials such as flour, spices and pasta. We also source Honey and Free-Range eggs from local farms and suppliers, stock a large variety of pick and mix, and even do food for your pets and garden wildlife! All of these products are sold by weight, enabling all of our customers to tailor orders to their specific needs.

Although we have been trading since 1988, we have made a conscious effort to move with the times. In 2017 we made the switch from single use plastic bags and ties to new paper bags that are fully recyclable. The brown tape we use to seal them is also plastic free, and our carrier bags are biodegradable! We also have made an effort to ask more from our wholesalers. As of last year, we return all single use plastic waste that comes to us from our main supplier, and they are gradually switching all their products to a fully compostable bags. U-Weigh also offer you a zero-waste option; by bringing your own containers and jars, you are able to fill them and eliminate packaging entirely!
