Ginger Cake Mix Recipe


  • 1kg / 2lb 3oz – U-Weigh Brownie
  • Mix 200ml / 7fl oz – Water
  • 140ml / 5 fl oz – Vegetable oil

  • 75g /2½ oz – Golden syrup


  1. Pour the ginger cake mix into a bowl and with either a whisk attachment or spatular, add water, vegetable oil, golden syrup and mix until fully combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into a small loaf tin or 6” round cake tin.

  3. Bake at 180ºC, 360ºF, Gas 4, for approx 40 – 50 minutes.
