Sugar; Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour; Calcium carbonate; Iron; Niacin; Thiamine); Palm fat; Rapeseed oil; Fat reduced cocoa powder (5,8%); Modified cornstarch; Egg white powder; Cocoa mass (0,6%); Salt; Flavouring (contains Milk); Dried glucose syrup; Emulsifier: Lactic acid esters of mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, Propane 1.2 diol esters of fatty acids, mono and diglycerides of fatty acids; Raising agent: Sodium carbonates; Skimmed Milk Powder

Preparation and use

Add 1kg of brownie mix to a bowl fitted with a beater. At slow speed add 250ml/8fl oz water and mix for 1 minute. Scrape down the sides continue to mix for a further 1 minutes. (Add nuts or choc  chips optional) and mix for 1 more minute. This produces a stiff grainy mixture. Spread the mixture into a greased tin lined with baking parchment. Use an 18cm x 30cm tin for 1kg of the mix. Bake at 180ºc, 350ºF, Gas 4 for approximately 25 – 30 minutes. Leave to cool and cut into square fingers. Baked Brownies should be crusty on the top with chewy, sticky middle.
