Add the cake mix into a bowl and add the water and vegetable oil. Then mix together until combined with either a beater attachment or by hand.
Pour the mixture into a greased lined 6” cake tin or a small loaf tin.
Bake at 180ºC, 360ºF, Gas 4, for approximately 35 – 40 minutes or until cooked through; you can check by inserting a skewer – if it is clean when removed, it’s baked!
To Make as a Pudding:
Divide batter into small pudding basins (3/4 full), place in a steamer for 45-60 minutes, or bake at 180°C 360°F for approximately 30 minutes, depending on basin size.
