500g – UWeigh Sweet Scone Mix

120 ml – Water

115g  – Sultanas/Dried Fruit (optional)

Method

    1. Add the scone mix into a bowl with the sultanas and water. Then mix together until combined with either a beater attachment or by hand.
    2. Place onto a floured surface, cover and rest for 10 minutes.
    3. Roll out to 2cm thick and cut the desired amount*
    4. Place them onto a greased baking tray, egg wash and rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
    5. Bake at 230ºC, 450ºF, Gas mark 8, for 10 minutes.

*Makes approximately 12 scones!
